Doing What I Said I Would

So, some awesome things happened this week that I am totes excited to talk about.

First, on Wednesday, I went to this National Geographic LIVE event with a school group. It was at the Mesa Arts Center and we watched Roz Savage speak about rowing (Yes. Rowing. With oars.) across the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian oceans all by herself. (It was called Solo Across the Oceans.)
And you know what? It was really freaking interesting. She was just a normal lady with a normal boring job and an average life. And then one day she decided to change that. But if you want to read the whole story go here, because I really don't want to type it all out.
But anyway, I got a copy of her book (which she signed) and this picture with her:
Beki, Madalynn, Roz

So yeah. That was exciting.

And then. On Thursday. It was Jacob's birthday. He is now 13. The pictures are being lame, however, so I will not be uploading those today. :/
But on the bright side, we went to eat at Panda Express and I successfully used some chopsticks :D
I kept them for memorial purposes. I'll probs put them in a scrapbook or something.
I crossed that off my list.

Speaking of which, I started leaning American Sign Language. And I have another thing to add.

Meet Tom Felton.
